I just finished watching the movie Origins, and I have to say it is quite an impressive documentary film on the subject of our health. Our health as individuals, the soil, the environment, the planet! Many of the concepts presented in the film are central to our  symbiotic relationships with with animals, birds, plants, soil, humans, and the planet as a whole.

Here are some quotes, phrases, paraphrases, and keywords that struck me”

“Food is information”

“Food and eating traditions are important”

“You are what you eat is taken to the next level”

“As above, so below”

“Heirloom open pollinated seeds and plants are your healthy options”

“Healthy soil and soil ecology”

“The herbicide and pesticide laden agriculture techniques have created lazy plants. These plants don’t have to work hard and therefore are missing the vital nutrients that carry on the important information that our bodies need.”

“Get good tilth”

“Real change for your health, our planet’s health, and our economy starts with your fork. What you eat three times a day every day is an important vote. You vote three times a day with the decisions you make when you eat.”
